Just finished ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’
This film is a great illustration of how some people are perfectly content with a simple life, having no desire to achieve anything or experience life outside of their own little world, and those that get fed up with that same world and want to escape it to experience life or for the desire to do something great to be remembered for and not just waste life away. I have struggled with this myself. I have wanted to do something great to be remembered for, and I have also let those desires fade for contentment at times. Is it ok with just being content with life the way it is? I’m not sure. I’d still like to do something great to be remembered for. Is that being prideful?
